Privacy

OnRecord Limited, a New Zealand company (“we”), runs OnRecord at onrec.io. We are the agency under the Privacy Act 2020. Our privacy officer is James Rangihika at support@onrec.io.

We collect your name, email, company name, plan, and the contents of updates you write. We collect this to provide the account, generate the page, keep last month, send the reminder, and charge the subscription. If you do not provide an email, you cannot have an account.

Stripe takes the card payment. We store the customer id, not the card number.

The product is hosted outside New Zealand, including with Lovable, Supabase, and Stripe. Those providers are in the United States or another country that may not be required to protect information in the same way as the Privacy Act. We send information to them only to run the service. By creating an account, you authorise that disclosure.

We keep the account while it is open, and billing records for as long as New Zealand tax law requires. You can ask for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct it, by emailing the privacy officer. We will respond within 20 working days.

If we believe a privacy breach has caused, or is likely to cause, serious harm, we will tell you and the Privacy Commissioner.

We do not sell personal information. We do not knowingly open accounts for anyone under 16.
